One Big Answer To Prayer

I am so thankful for friends and the blog world that has connected me to so many other adoptive families to encourage us along this journey called adoption. I am thankful for those people who are truly seeking to live a "radical life". Over two months ago, I posted  this post about looking for a car for Trevis. The transmission had officially died.  God answered our prayer and I blogged about it here. So, my friend called me this week and said she thought it would be ready for us to have it this weekend. Trevis and I were stoked!! We met her family Friday night. Here it is now in our driveway!!

I am reminded God's faithfulness on this journey.....We have experienced a bundle of emotions--the full gamut to be exact in the last 24 hours, but tonight I am focused on God's provision....

I am reminded of a verse that I believe with all my heart.
Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Thank you to everyone who has left a comment; everyone who is praying for us and Justus and will continue to do so even after we have him home; for those of your who have sent emails, sent a card, a letter, and/or given us money toward the adoption. We are thankful. We know that we know that we know that God loves all of his children (especially the orphans) and is passionate about us caring for them. We are eager to have our little boy home. We are thankful that God has opened our eyes....When we open our eyes and are obedient, God can use us to do mighty things.

With Much Love,
