Lovely older siblings.... My kids aren't right.

Last night, Trevis and I were actually on the couch and Justus was calling Trevis to his bedroom. He was supposed to be going to sleep b/c Trevis had actually already read with him and tucked him in. He kept calling though, saying, "Come Look" daddy. So, Trevis went to his room and he said....

"Daddy, ET comin in my room tonight?" Justus was dead serious....Trevis tried to explain how ET was just pretend like a cartoon, but Justus was convinced ET was coming in his room after he went to sleep.

Earlier in the evening, we went by my grandparents' house b/c it was my grandaddy's birthday. He was 80. My grandmama came out and I think Justus has only seen her once and for whatever reason, he was not hugging her (said she was scary)....Spencer and Natalie went and hugged her and apparently when Justus ran around the side of the house, they told him that if he (Justus) didn't hug great-grandmama ET was going to come out of his closet that night....

Well, ET is fresh in Justus' mind b/c we saw it a couple of weeks ago at "Movie in the Park" at our local greenway/park.

And that my friends....is how lovely older siblings can be....
(ps...if you haven't seen ET in awhile..be forewarned...there are a few choice words and beverages I didn't remember from being a kid).
