Easy African Art you can Make at Home

In preparing for "D" to join our family, I have been doing several craft/painting projects. I am excited about how things are beginning to turn out. I think I saw something like this online, but I can't remember....I do remember thinking to myself.....I bet I could make that for much cheaper....So, Michael's ran an add for 50% off the frames and then I got another percentage off. (I bought a black 10 X 10 frame.)I went to hobby lobby and bought blue scrapbook paper and textured black paper. I copied an outline of Africa into a "word" document. Then, I shrunk it to the right size. I cut out the outline with the black paper at the same time. I cut the blue paper to fit the frame! VOILA!! There you have it? So what d'ya think?

My upload link is being finicky and only letting me upload one picture....I tried to take a picture of it on the wall in his room, but there is a glare and reflection from the closet door. I was really happy with it though and you could even personalize it for your child's birth country....
