Pssst....Have you heard? The secret church simulcast is coming November 4th!

I looked at my blog and I can't believe it's been about a month since I posted. Well, there's lots of changes going on around our house right now and I hope to blog about those thing really soon, but I had to inturrupt my blogging drought to let you know that....

The Secret Church is having a simulcast November 4th. You can go here to the Lifeway webpage to get more information. There is a gray bar on the side that says "secret church locations". You can check there to see if a church in your area is hosting this event.

The secret church is six intense hours of Bible study by author/preacher/Christ-follower David Platt....You may have read this book by him:

Trevis got to go to the last Secret Church meeting that was right before Easter. He learned so much. I was staying with Justus at the time b/c we were still cocooning. I'm excited that we will both get to go (hopefully) this time.

The topics that we will delve into are: family, marriage, sex, and the gospel. The lifeway page mentioned "adoption" so I am looking forward to this part. Some of the topics are controversial. This initially made me want to shy away. However, I need to know what God's word says.

I hope you will be able to find a host church in your area. I know God will meet us there.
