Stop By and Say "Hi"!

It's been over one year since I started this blog...Originally I started this blog to share our adoption process and to serve as an online scrapbook of sorts of family events and ways that God was working in our lives...not only just bringing Justus home, but also the ways He would tenderly prick our hearts for the things that break His....

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE you to leave a comment today and say "Hi". I'd LOVE to know what God is doing in your life...what part of the country you live in....and if you have any prayer requests....leave them too....
I'm so glad to get to "do" life online with you.:)

Hope you have a sun-shiny kind of day!

With Much Love,

  1. Hey Melanie!! Since you asked so nicely!! :) We just got home from Good News Club, a partnership between our church and a local school where we get to share Jesus with the kids after school!! :):) Love it! We're in SC, waiting for our referral from Russia! God's been teaching me so much about my praise not being contingent upon circumstances, but based on Him who never changes! Please be praying for us throughout this adoption process and for our precious little one waiting for us! Thanks, and I hope you have a great day too!

  4. Hi Melanie, I'm Amelia, and love to read your blog. What a beautiful family you have. We adopted our son in 2009, and now we're praying to adopt another one. We might wait for a year because we just blessed with the birth or our third child, a little girl.

  7. Hello Melanie, So great to read about all the positive of bringing home an "older" child! I agree with it all. I just love Hermela's accent too! It's so fun to hear her tryng to speak in sentences and trying new words. I love how God shows us what true love for these children who were once orphans really is; loving them even in the hard times, even when we are not sure what is going on in their little hearts. I keep praying that we, as parents, will be a good example of what unconditional love is to our children and to others considering adopting older children! ~Always praying to see these children and even our bio children through the loving eyes of Christ!
