My Week In Review-High, Low, & Lesson Learned

I am linking up with Amy from Filled With Praise to share a High, Low, and Lesson Learned of the Week. I know I'll enjoy looking back at these over the year...What a good idea!

{High}

This week, the kids were on Spring Break so we brainstormed some things to do locally. We had a "stay-cation" of sorts. It is really fun experiencing things through the eyes of Justus.....All of these things he did for the first time with my two big kiddos. They couldn't wait to show him the ropes....On Monday, we went to the science center....

The two big kids playing "Dance Dance Revolution"

He was CRAZY over this car!! Look at the tongue action going on...the concentration!

On Thursday, we went to Chuck E. Cheese with my mom....She loves going with the kids to old Chuck E. Cheese....This was another first for Justus..He LOVED it!

This is the sweetest pic....He loves him some Barney.

Gramma cheering him on!! Faster! Faster!
This kid was doing the motion simulator game and there was an open seat so Justus jumped on...
Spencer had to show Justus how to maneuver through the tunnels to get down the slide...Looks like he liked it.

{Low}
My low this week was when Justus fell off his bike again and got a huge goose egg...again...in the same place as last time...You might be able to see it in the pics above.

{Lesson Learned}
I have been reading, One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. I have learned that I need to begin a gratitude journal to write down all the blessings and the way God moves in and throughout my day.... I picked one out today...I'm excited to get started.

  3. Looks like a fun week with the kids...and their grandma too.

    That was quite a bump on the head! I used to get those all of the time when I was a girl and played rough with my brother and all of the neighborhood kids! I survived..and most kids do. (:>)

    That book does sound good. I am going to borrow it from my oldest daughter.

    Happy Sunday!
