BoroDash--It's Thanksgiving Thursday!

Hey friends,
I want to tell you about the first annual run/walk in Murfreesboro, TN called the BoroDash. It is a 4 mile charity event. I am STOKED about this run. Here's why.....Proceeds from BoroDash are going to support Neema House. The Neema House Ministry is an outreach to orphaned children and broken families in Geita, Tanzania.  Neema (pronounced Nāma) is the Swahili word for “grace” or “abundance.”  Neema House will be a children’s home where people from the Geita community experience the grace and abundance of God through tangible acts of love and service. The proceeds are also going to support Greenhouse Ministries here in Murfreesboro, TN. Greenhouse is a faith-based, non-profit agency serving the underserved in the Middle Tennessee area with a variety of resources designed to give clients and volunteers hope. How great is that?!? The morning of the race they will be collecting canned goods and gently used tennis shoes as well. What a wonderful new tradition to start as a family. My brother and his family are driving in from Texas to be with us and he is running with Trevis and Spencer.
