Hoops Anyone? Are you ready for some football?--Justus' Room

I'm so excited to share some pics of projects I've been working on in Justus' room. Remember a few posts back when I was deciding whether or not to go all out on doing his room (ie. painting on the walls). Well, I am doing it. I am so thrilled how it is coming together now, because truely I am not that artistic. However, with a yardstick, a level, and a few basic math skills, I'm convinced anyone could to this......(These are not wall clings.;))

So....our referral paperwork said that Justus likes ball. I wasn't sure what kind of ball (I'm thinking soccer, but roll with me here. That'll be my final project....I haven't started on it yet.)

If basketball is your game, how 'bout some hoops?

Yes, I cut (I actually used the saw.) one of those Nerf basketball goal thingies off of the kind that you hang on the closet door. I put some of those contact strips (that are supposed to come nicely off the wall without peeling the paint off). Boom! Now, he can play basketball when it's too cold outside. :)

So, that's the beginning of the painting on the wall projects. I hope he likes sports for a long time. It'll be a fun boy room....Do you think he'll like it?

I had to add a song to the blog....I can't get good ole, "Are you ready for some football?" (It keeps hiccuping) but for all my rowdy friends who have little girls that have watched "High School Musical"....I had to add "Get'cha Head in the Game."
