Curious George

Well, a have a little silly story today.....We are soon coming off a hiatus from Curious George. I guess it's been about 10 days since we've been on the antibiotic called, "watching shows that use real words".

It all started when we arrived home from ET with Justus. I had Trevis TiVo Curious George b/c I already knew that Justus was extremely curious (really, I THOUGHT I had a clue how curious, but not really till we got home.)   When we got home and settled, we turned ole George on....Of course Justus Derero loved the show..Then, after a few weeks, all new language acquired came to a sudden abrupt halt to be replaced by monkey sounds...grunting, ooh ohh. ah ah. and the like. Well, I thought we had been working a little too hard on language for it to go out the window acting and now talking like a monkey all day.....

So, it's been Sesame Street or Go Diego Go instead.....

Last week, I took all three kids to the library and I asked Justus if he wanted to check out some "George" books. Of course, he was all about that. The books have WORDS and they lend themselves to a lot of discussion...Justus has to tell me something about each page before I can go to the next page....

So....I'm thinking maybe we can revisit Curious George tomorrow????
