I contacted Kelly and she emailed me a list of things that Mrs. Mary and Mr. Oscar still need. There house was flooded and they had to throw everything out. We picked up a table & chairs and some towels and drove them out to the house on Sunday morning. Mr. Oscar is precious...so gracious and thankful. 1. 2 recliners/lazy boy chairs for the senior citizens to sit in.
2. House coats for Mrs. Mary--hers had to be thrown away. She wears the type from Sears that snap up the front. Size Medium.
3. Open-toed slippers
4. Grandfather clothes--size 13 shoes, 38 pants, XL shirts
5. towels and wash rags
6. pots and pans
7. glasses or cups
8. coffee maker
9. over the toilet standing storage rack
10.charcoal grill (grandpa used his a lot. It was a large oval one)
11.refrigerator
12.TV
13.bathsoaps, lotions, or candles for the bathroom.
14.curtains and curtain rods
15. Anyone with any connection that could install front railings for the front porch...the others have fallen in and they need something to hold onto when going up and down the stairs. It isn't safe without railings.
*** Ordinary Hero has run out of money and gone over budget for this project....so anything that can be donated will help complete the project. Anything NEW OR USED is welcome!!
