It Came!!--Hooray!

After a 3 month wait, it finally arrived!! Our "Favorable Determination Letter" came in the mail yesterday from the Department of Homeland Security. Yea! After many emails and attempts, we finally got someone knowledgeable that was able to help us. We are very thankful to that lady. Apparently, our home study got lost somewhere at the USCIS office. After re-sending it, our file was processed quickly. I have learned in this adoption walk that there is a time to be patient and a time to be persistent. Sometimes without persistence and prayer, paperwork will not be processed. That letter means that we are officially approved by the United States government to bring home 1 or 2 children boy/girl from Ethiopia into our country.
YEA!! That was the last piece of paper we were waiting for. We are now ready to receive our referral. (where you get matched up with a child/children). Now is a time to wait......

Hope your weekend was great!
With much love,
